I am always so inspired by the perfectly curated Instagram Accounts or Pintrest posts with decor, sometimes I get very overwhelmed. Although I am a Interior Designer/Decorator I still get alot of my inspiration from other peoples work and ideas, then curate them into my very own unique creation – and on a budget, did I mention BUDGET? Some of those posts are incredible but perhaps not achievable for your average household.
If you are looking to do some fall decorating but don’t want to break the bank, I have a few tips for you:
– shop local, see if there is a pumpkin patch or local garden center that sells pumpkins ( I got all my white pumpkins from a farmer just up the road!)
– go through your storage room and re-paint things that could be used in a different season (example: candle stick holders)
– check our items in your garden shed that can be used on your front porch
– consider a DIY project if you are handy or hire a local handyman to build you something
– post on your local buy and sell for items you would be interested in using, possibly there is somebody that has a deal for you
– shop at your local thrift store, they have so many cool home decor items that are very reasonable and can be re-worked for your decor project
Happy Fall Y’all, thank you for stopping by! In the next few weeks I will be posting some yummy fall recipes, so don’t be a stranger.
